We face a non-returning catastrophic Habitat event produced by 10.000 years of constant deforestation and 200 years of intensive pollution. Unlike contemporary-dull science fiction movies, the original masterpiece Godzilla (Ishiro Honda, with Takashi Shimura, 1954) has a warning message about nuclear weapons and Climate Change. We observe oceans acidification, land desertification and the dramatic extinction of vertebrate and invertebrate species. An immense amount of biodiversity is lost every day, most of it would be gone in as little as three human lifetimes. Many scientists are aware of this, but people ignore it or are skeptical. See full document in: Zeit.
